I am not sure of the exact size but it might be around 26awg. I tried it on a new 700 and it increase the strenght of the magnets a bit. The only thing I am unsure of is to explain which way to flow the current through the coil. I connected the positve of the power supply to the top path of the coil that going to the top of the motor.
