LOL! Everybody has their own tip! Here's mine: I buy "single use" epoxy at the Dollar General (for $1, and I buy six at a time) and mix just enough to do the 3 or 4 spots I can handle before it gets hard. I mix on a scrap of my 12-pack of Milwaukees Best Light boxes which never seem to be in short supply. Then I store the the unused epoxy gun standing upright with a baggie over it until next time. Seems you always mix more than you can use. The cold beer can idea is clever, but I would get confused and try to drink the epoxy. When I reach for the wrong thing to drink, it's time to put down the airplane and go to bed.
