I have a Hacker 20 w gear drive that I just installed in a Pretty have not flown it yet but in test runs it appears to be smooth and powerful....I would say it is worth the extra bucks if you are serious about electrics. At a recient fun fly some were flying Hacker 50s very impressive as they also were at the TOC.
