I was irritated with Futaba because after my new Cessna almost plowed vertically into the runway immediately after takeoff (regained control and literally pulled up a foot from the ground) and after narrowing down the problem to the receiver I sent the new receiver in. They sent it back saying it was within their margin of error. [:@]

The REALLY SCARY thing is that it passed a thorough range check. [X(]

It's still sitting on my worktable since I haven't figured out what to do with it but have resorted to getting out some of my older 7 channel R127DF's. I haven't heard of any official issues with them, but I am scared off enough to start using other Futaba models.

PS: I wouldn't have blamed your building skills. The airplane is impressive and I'd bet it turns heads at the field (at least among people with fine taste )
