MattyB you will need to set your carb back to factory settings and start over. Fisrt get your high speed needle set as it feeds both the Mid and Low speed needles, then get the mid range set by running it part throttle and snap the throttle open to check its response, it should rev pretty quick and constistent. Once you get the mid range set, you should not have to tune that needle any further during typical daily tuning. Now set your low speed needle to the engine will idle nice and stable. You may have to adjust the idle screw to keep up the rpm's to nice level for running fast and sudden stops.
