It looks like the 3.3. On the cranks case it will say, the markings is right behind the ezstart motor.

Tools you should have

2.5mm hex wrench
2.0mm hex wrench
1.5mm hex wrench (theres about 4 screws on the hole truck that are 1.5mm)

flat head screw driver
temp gun

This is somthing i recommend it has the traxxas tool kit (which includes everyting listed above except screw driver and temp gun), instructional dvd, and instrction manual. But the hex wrenches that come with the tool kit will wear out after you use them for a while. Also in that kit is parts to tune the suspension.
