RE: BME 90 gasser problems
Thank goodness I don't have a pull start on it. I've been using a cordless drill with the hex adapter for my heli to get it started. The standard starters just don't do it. How do you check it for constant spark? My engine is pretty much totally inclosed, and in order to get the plug out I have to remove the engine. If there is not an easy way, I guess I'll mount it back on a test stand and rework from there. This has been a bugger of a project, I'm suprised the timing would be able to be moved around so easily with that set screw on there. Perhaps it back fired and moved it.
There did seem to be plenty of fuel running though the line into the carb, and after so much cranking it smelled like gas everywhere.
