if it stops when you get to a slower speed then its normal, its the clutch, when you going at a high speed and let off the throttle the roating force is still strong another to keep the clutch engaged and the engine will slow the car down till it slows down to where the clutch disengages alowing the car to coast, it basicly like engine braking on a manul car.
