I've stood right there while a friend used a high end battery powered drill motor with a starter cone attached to start his 3w55. It CAN be done. The old Sullivan Dynatron will handle most 26 to 28cc engines, but above that you need something with a little more torque. They used to make a Megatron for gassers. Check it out.
