The Electron 6 is a particularly robust and I beleve a superior performer than some JR products especially when compared to the single conversion ABC&W units.

There is absolutely no reason not to use it with your JR Tx if you so choose as long as you order the positive shift version of the Electron and you only use a Hitec dual conversion crystal in the Rx.

Remember LHS's will always want to sell you what they have first and what allows the most profit margin. This does not make them evil its called survival.
