If you talk with Bill at Taurus, he will tell you the 52 is only 2 ounces heavier than the forty two. That is why he is not making the 42's anymore.

That plane was designed around a Moki 180 two stroke glow engine. If you want gas, I would certainly look for a lightweight 40 cc motor.
