The AW edge would give you plenty of experience sheeting foam. You'll need it...On the carden you have to sheet the belly, turtle deck, hatch, wings, and the tail surfaces.
The place where the AW is easier is in the fuse. It is basically 1/8 ply sides and some laser cut formers. The Carden is a sheeted truss design.
The instructions with the AW are so-so...and expect you have prior building experience. With I little help I'd say you should be able to complete it. You seem like one who is up to a challenge.
