Sure it will fly better. It's got more wing area. That's the only reason, though. Other than that, the two planes will react the same to adding floats. The super stunts will also fly better with them off, will it not? Both will suffer from the weight and the drag. One having a nosewheel and the other a tailwheel is not part of this equation. I'm sure everybody else reading this thread is sitting back and laughing at one of us.
