Don, I went back to post #134 and looked again at your header/flexpipe set-up. I am going to rearrange my engine to that configuration because the current set-up, with the angled engine, is just plain fugly.[

] An airplane that flies this well deserves better.
I ordered the flexpipe (120mm) and the insider header, and I am wondering what you used for that bracket between the flexpipe and the muffler, and what the black piece is made of. Looks like it might be a CF tube used to drain the crankcase vent.
BTW I added some more weight to the tail, for less push when inverted, and there is now a little pull to the gear on KE which I will have to mix out. I figure that for pattern we spend a lot more time inverted than on KE anyway, so I'd rather have it more pilot-friendly in that attitude. What inspired me to do it was my practicing of slow point rolls. I was so tough to get it to roll smoothly to inverted because it required so much push on the stick to keep it level.[&o] Anyway, my CG is now around 6-7/8".
