Default RE: Composite-ARF Integral, kinda build thread

Kevin's engine set up is 4 oz heavier then an OS 1.40 setup.
Mine was set up originally with the Carbon canopy and no baffleing to cool the engine.

It came in weighing 9 1/2 lb.
I added 9 0z of lead to the fire wall Baffleing in the chin cowl for engine cooling.

Also I had to change to mich heavier silicion couplers for the header coupling.

I could use teflon and some some ozs.

After all was siad and done 10 lb 8 oz.

This jives with Kevin's figures using the OS 1.60 and perry pump.

It still flies like a dream at this weight.
I have fabricated a corbon Fiber pushrod sytem so I can get the servos out of the tail.
It will weigh less then the servos and put the weight in the right spot. Near or on the CG. Right now I am flying a Bar Bell Weight at the nose and weight in the tail.
