Default RE: avistar tail dragger?

What he means is this......

You need to do two things to convert a trike gear to tail dragger.

1. Move the main gear forward. The easiest way to accomplish that is to pick up a new set of nylon or aluminum main gear, and add a liteply mounting block somewere just ahead of the leading edge of the wing.(I'll take you a picture of my hobbistar in a second)

2. Setup a tail wheel. There are two ways to do this effectively. 1st is to connect a second pushrod onto the SAME side as your rudder horn(meaning the rod is being pushed the same direction as the rudder rod is) and run it down to an independently steerable tail wheel.
-or-
cut the hinges on your rudder and install a wire into the rudder, down to a tail wheel bracket, then bend it out for a tail wheel. You'll have to notch the elevator to make a passage for it.

sorry for bad images...... My lens sucks .
