RE: Setups for a .28 buggy please.
I remember you mentioned in your other thread about setups for running a .28 engine. You don't need to change anything above and beyond what is a working setup for that car. If you don't know at all what to try then go with a generic setup for the diffs (F-M-R) 5k - 7k - 2k. 300-400 in the shocks.
The gearing and pipe are the only things you need to worry about when changing the engine. If I was you and I was bashing and I wanted to use all that power and still have great top speed, I'd go for a 16, 17, or at a real stretch, 18 tooth clutch bell.
I have to tell you as well though, if you overgear a car, you are straining the engine much more than running it at higher revs with softer gearing...instead of making it last longer, you may find you simply pop a conrod.
