I'm fairly confident i won't pop a conrod. I haven't heard anyone doing that with a NINJA yet. Although not many have .28's it would seem.

I have run my .21 NINJA on an 18t and stock mugen spur gear and no problems so far.
Obviously it's slow on accelaration though.
Looking at the stats of the two engines side by side they say the .28 has double the tourqe consistantly all the way through the power band.
So i was hoping an 18t would be fine because i already have one. I don't have a 16 or 17t.
To reduce the strain even more and produce better throttle response i was thinking about getting the extra Mugen spur it's slightly larger by only a few teeth. I'm not sure if it will fit with the 18t pinion though.

I could do with a smaller spur but mugen only sell 2 and i do't know what others fit so... I'm stuck there.

I pop the drive pins with 3k 3k 1k and the .21 NINJA.

I have the NINJA FLS pipe at the moment do you think that should work okay with the .28?
