I doubt that the high rpm will impress me that much i have a Nova 367 which rev's higher. I hope i won't be needing the high revs. If i do it's not what i'm after.

I will be gearing it high. 18t and 13t are the only pinions i have at the moment.

I will be very happy if the .28 with an 18t pinion has enough tourqe to get it up and moving like the .21 does with the 13t.
That would be perfect.
Either way though i will gear it so it accelartes exatly the same as the .21 so i can keep the revs low and extend the life of the engine.

What setup do you use for diff oils/suspention?
Also what gear ratio are you running with your .28, like what size spur are you running/how many turns of the pinion does it take to do one turn of the wheels?
