My opinion - the DL 50 reportedly has a different reed bank/system than the DA 50, which may explain why it isn't getting the reports of burbling, transition issues, etc. I do not own a DA, and I cannot substantiate if that statement is factual, but it came from a person I know who knows their stuff. Either way - the DL has proven to just be an OUTSTANDING powerplant.

Exceptional value, good power, and easy to live with.

I would take it over ANY glow engine setup, no matter the size or flavor.
Just IMHO.
