There are so many reasons why an engine would quit for no apparent reason, that it would be impossible to just even suggest something without even knowing which helicopter you are talking about.

The fact that it gave you problems while inverted when there was none before suggests fuel problems. Fuel line, fuel tanks, needle settings, ect.
