Default RE: Bit of a Problem!!

Glad to see what was seen in me but a few months back !

Blue thingy= aluminum flybar holder, or head. Or aluminum flybar head.

See what you guys did to me? You have created a monster!!LOL Seriously though, would it hurt to do those mods first and then trim it, or would it be better to trim and then mod? Whattya think? Or doesn't it matter?

Here is the way to "Trim" it.>>>>>

[ul][*] Unplug both motors.[*] After the 4 in 1 arms, look at the swashplate. (servo's are centerd). Pick a flat, level part of the heli,
(frame, servo bodies, etc...) to judge the swashplate against.
Whatever way the swashplate is lowest...is the way the heli will go. [*] Are the servo arms level in neutral position? If not...pull them off, center them, then
start to use the linkages for the adjustment.[*] Use the adjustment links to get the swashplate as level as you can......use the trim to get it the rest of the
way.
[/ul]

Starting from there........you can't go wrong...it should be so "close" to right

NOTE: DO NOT remove screws, tighten screws, or try to move or force servos when they are powered
up....they are trying to maintain a position. And moving them or forcing them when they are on can do no
good.

If rudder (spinning while in steady hover) is a problem :
Run about half the pack...place rudder trim in the middle, then turn the proportional to trim it.

If you are looking like you are sitting in the heli...the easy way to remember how to turn the
proportional is.....turn it the way you WANT the heli nose to go.
If you want the nose to go right .....turn it right....clockwise.
If you want the nose to go left .......turn it left.....counter clockwise.

It doesn't matter if you mod it now or mod it later......as long as you mod it !!!

But really as long as you are having fun with it , that is all that matters. Mod it when you feel comfortable!

Hey soloboss ....how about just starting a new thread and paste your article???
It would be a help to many, (as it already has). I went searching for it here
earlier, but all I found was a portion of it (I thought I had seen the full posted version , but maybe
that was all that was posted, when you was just starting it).
But anyway it would be posted here in your "home base".
Spread the knowledge as farthey as thee I can see.....
I am with you, I have looked though a few of the different
boards and for now, I like this one best.

I don't think you can put your pictures in order with your script (or at least I haven't figured out how
to). But pictures at the end ...always works.

And for now the.........
