I dont know if you have Dick's Sporting Goods stores out in cali but a friend and I bought one to radar his bass boat. I think he paid $69 for it, it has long range, and is spot on with the speedometers on two different cars. We got in a Mustang GT and the radar gun could read up to 105, we didn't go any faster so...Anyway, we would shoot it towards the bank as we approached a turn to read the speed and it agreed with the GPS unit we had as far as speed was within .5MPH
