Hans, How does the OS160FX compare on those APC props you ran?
I have a well piped (KS1025) 160FX on a pattern ship too. The two stroke does about the same as the laser on the ground, but can handle a bigger (in this case a 17*12 APC) better than the laser can. The laser does a bit better in rpm with the 16 inch APC's.
In horizontal flight the 160FX speeds up very wel and there I like the characteristics of the piped 2 stroke better. The dynamics of the plane look better. However if the climb rate is more than 45 degrees the Laser is performing better because there is never a rpm change up or down. Downlines with a 4 stroke are a lot better because of the breaking.
The OS200 I only tried it bench running. To me the power was disappointing however it only has seen two tanks of fuel. A well piped FX160 will do better then the OS200. A muffled FX160 will not do better then the OS200
