For the size and weight of this model, and comparing the Zenoah G38 (very good engine), with alternatives....you COULD conceivably choose a DL-50, 50cc single for this plane. You can get a G38 for 300 plus shipping, pretty much anywhere new, and the DL-50 for 370, shipped. It all depends on what you might want to put this motor in after this plane, ya know? The reason I bring this up, is because for 70 bucks or less extra, you could have an engine that would fly this plane with unlimited power, and have an engine that would go in so many other models. Not to mention that this 50cc, even with muffler and ignition battery, is at least 10oz lighter than the g38. You can always use the left stick, nothing says you MUST be at full throttle
