35 years experience beats my 8 or so years all to hell!!! And Ron, our club pro is a Master level Pattern flyer, his son, Dave, is FAI level, I believe he was 7th overall at the Nats this year. All that knowledge is available and easy to tap, so I do so on a regular basis...
Even with the three biggies that I own, including two pattern planes, I often ask Ron to test fly my planes and take his suggestions verbatim.
I bought a Hobbico Super Star RTF trainer a short time ago, to use it as a club trainer. After it was built, I checked the CG myself and it was pretty good, so I put it up. Ron flew it and made a couple of suggestions, which I followed, and it flys much better now. Makes a great and predictable trainer that has paid for itself a couple times over.
Yep, trust the pro's is the best suggestion of all!!
