Default hover stabilty vs thrustline vs prop size

I have a Hangar 9 33% Extra 330L. I have been trying to learn to torque roll with this plane but I seem to be all over the sky with it. I can torque roll, hover my UCD all day long but not this plane. I noticed that in a full throttle vertical climb, the plane tends to pull a bit left and to the canopy slightly.THe firewall has right and down thrust built into it.I added a bit more last weekend but have not had a chance to fly it since. Do you think this will help my hover stability? Also,I have tried different pitches of props on it. I am flying a GT80 and I have tried a 26x8 and a 24x10.The 26x8 gives more vertical but doesn't seem as stable in a hover. Is this normal? I can hover less than half throttle with this combination and have plenty of power reserve for climbout. But she's squirrely. Any suggestions? Thanks!
