That's what I use to do, work on the dinner table...I got sick and tired of every nut and bolt rolling off into the black hole and not being able to find them This set up is so much nicer...lock my self in the room, turn up the AC and the music on those really hot days and just wrench on my trucks I bought the work bench and the backwall with lights for $50.00 at sears on clearance, it was a discontinued model.
