Default I finally did it....!

After months and months of procrastinating I finally went to my LHS and ordered a GST, now my nemesis wont feel so lonley. Before I even break it in I am going to pull it apart and upgrade the driveshaft, steering servo and and install the new cnc machined spur gears I can't wait[&:]

Good stuff...it'll be interesting to see what you think of the GST V's Nemesis when broken in. Interesting to hear you mention beefing up the steering servo. I want to do the same for my GST and recalled TRD saying in another thread that a 6 volt batery pack is preferable to power say a 333 oz Hitec servo. With this in mind I contacted a local RC shop to be informed that even though I might install a 6 V pack, the receiver will continue to feed 4.8 V to my servos! Big disappointment. Is he right and do I have to upgrade my receiver too?? Also do you plan on upgrading the break servo, throttle servo? Cheers.

Personal preference i'm sure, but 2 144oz servos installed in the Dual Steering Servo mod is likely cheaper than a high end servo. Just my 2 cents. Besides the mod is a blast [8D]

Gratz on the GST either way, i never had so much fun!!!!!!!

P.S. Would love to hear a Nemi vs GST review myself

That is completely wrong. The servo's will get 6v of power. He just wants you to buy a new RX or he's not fit to give out information like that.

Annie is absolutely correct your servos will receive whatever power you send to them via battery voltage

Congratulations Soilworks,,,, I did not see any mention of the Check valve mod, is that working out for you??? I never did hear if you got it tuned well....

I hope it is wrong cos the GST really could do with better 'oomph' in the steering.

The Ofna checkvalve is working out great..I finally have were it's holding a steady idle and not loading up when I come to a stop, and yes I will be adding one to my GST. Thanks again for all your help with the checkvalve, I will be adding one to my TNX which also seems to suffer from fuel pressure issues...Thanks again

That's what I use to do, work on the dinner table...I got sick and tired of every nut and bolt rolling off into the black hole and not being able to find them This set up is so much nicer...lock my self in the room, turn up the AC and the music on those really hot days and just wrench on my trucks I bought the work bench and the backwall with lights for $50.00 at sears on clearance, it was a discontinued model.

Thanks[8D][8D] You never know what kind of bargains you are going to find Check a Sears store near you, they always have discontinued merch and merch that customers have brought back at real good prices When I saw that workbench and back wall for only $50.00 I could not pass on that! Now I have my own little mantown[8D][&:]

Hey Darkfire, Its looks like granite patterned Laminate counter top, the company I work fabricates them for offices, breakrooms and anywhere you might want the granite look but not the granite pourosity and expense, you also get that pattern from home depot or lowes as well

Opps slipped into work mode for a second there
