STS engines all so have a LOT of pinch. First pre heat the engine with a heat gun makes starting easier. Then when cooling makes sure you put the piston at BDC. On STS engines I do not even begin to tune for performance till at least a gallon. Be patient! Go engines and parts are getting real hard to find in the US.
