I think you only need Y-connector for the aileron servos. I forgot exactly how long it was. I ended up using a APC 9X6 electric prop. This prop pretty much maxed out the amp rating of the motor so I didn't go any bigger. You really need an amp meter if you are going to fly electric.
The 450 outrunner gives the plane pretty spirited performance similar to most glow planes. If you are looking for insane vertical, you will want the 480 outrunner.
