RE: Diablo cnc head and cnc tail anyone using them?
My Diablo was just delivered and I will echo LDGILLS sentiments. I've only just completed a quick inspection of the contents of the package, but the attention to detail is just astounding.
1. The motor already has the bullet plugs installed. I had just ordered a set of bullet connectors and sockets, expecting to have to install both ends. Now I'll only need to solder the sockets onto the ESC wires after cutting them to the proper length and have some spare bullet plugs.
2. I knew the case was going to be full-sized, but I never imagined that it would be big enough to fit my transmitter or that there would be an area precut in the foam for the transmitter. It fits my DX7 like a glove, although I may have to do some minor modifications to keep the antenna clear of the servo-swash links. Fantastic!
The only blemish I've found thus far on the heli that would qualify the heli as B-stock is a scratch on the boom clamp. Since that surface will be covered by the gyro, I consider it a non-issue. I really got a bargain on this heli (with my $100 discount)!
Great work, RC-TEK!
