Default RE: SUPERVEE DRIVESHAFT HELP!

Sounds like your coupler was loose. You lost your prop, flex shaft, drive dog and maybe your bushing. There's a brass bushing that slides in and out of the strut/stinger on the back. It has horizontal holes in it for passing/holding grease (it may still be there). You can order all new stuff from OSE (off shore electric). I personally wouldn't try to claim warantee. For one thing this is a part you should remove after every session on the water to lube so you should be responsile for how tight it is. (1, 10mm wrench, 1, 12mm wrench. I ran mine w/o servicing it the first time so I'm not throwing stones. The second reason is you'll never be up and running in two weeks if you go the warantee route. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/products.php?cat=52. Also drip some 3n1 oil in your motor bearing as they probaby got wet (it'll be ok)

Unfortunately it looks like some stuff is out of stock at OSE but they carry all the driveline parts you need. You might want to call and see when they will have them in.

Good luck and welcome to the sickness!
