i was able to pry mine out, prob not a good idea but it worked. i also removed a fly wheel by taking big channle locks an positioning the jaws on the crank shaft tip and the back of the fly wheel and working it out, this is harder to do than prying but you have less of a chance of distroying the flywheel.
i was able to remove both of mine without gouges or dents. but remember BE PATIENT, getting PI** just makes things break[X(].
