RE: Looking into twins...
A lot of those twin Sportsters were built when the article first came out. Including mine. It was a gorgeous airplane and very easy to fly. I had engine problems because I didn't isolate the fuel tanks and the fuel frothed. Lots of dead sticks, but no crashes. A friend had one on floats. That worked well too.
I have a Super Sportster 120 that I'm eventually going to convert to a twin using two 91 four strokes. I'll use the original twin plans, blown up at Kinkos.
