Anyone else done any CMP kit conversions? I have done three so far. My first was a 90 Hellcat with flaps usign a E-flight 60 and 6S pack. It flys great and lands at a hover almost. My second was a 50 P40 which I put a E-flight 46 in and a 4S pack. It barely flew on that setup and I have since changed it to a Hacker B50 motor and 6S pack. I haven't gotten it back in the air yet. I also put split flaps on it too. My third, and latest, is a 50 Zero that I put another E-flight 60 in with a 6S pack. It's way too much motor, but the plane needed the weight up front to get the CG right. I just flew it and it's great. Fly's like a rocket and is very stable. Landing speed is high, but not too bad for a warbird. It may need flap too, but I will leave it for now.
