There are a number of threads that have discusseed all types off ways to pull the oil out of wood. I prefer using K2R and the kitty litter. The kitty litter will take a day or 2 to work, put it does. The K2R will work in about 30 minutes, however you may have to do it a couple of times to get it out. If you are going to apply some covering to the cleaned area, a coat or 2 of Balsarite will hepl it to stick down. Good Luck, Dave
