Sorry for the bit of bad luck. What they may have failed to do is teach you abort proceedures. In any instant that the take off roll is not under control reduce the throttle or even kill the engine, if the plane is headed toward the pitts, and try again. Never force the plane to take flight when you are not in 100% control. Well now you get to learn another part of this hobby... repairs.
