I have used " CRC Electronic spray" when I couldn't get K2R. Just spray it on and rub over it with an old tooth brush till it feels dry. Then spry a light coat of hair spray on it before recovering. MAKE sure it is ELECTRONIC cleaner and not some other kind.

If the fuel went in under the wing, you might use some wing saddle tape to help keep it out. ( Foam insulation tape )
