Here are the pics of the construction of my last PzrIII. You can see the wires leading to where the lights are in the pic of the turret interior. Also note the latch handles on the hatches, they are fully functioning you can latch all the hatches in the closed and locked position. The hatches on the front of the tank above the transmission and escape hatches are funtional and locking as well. In the lower hull in both the driver and the radioman/machinegunner's positions there are light's in the ceiling above and in front of their heads. The diamond pattern floor plate was also hand made by thin sheet aluminum over some metal window screening and rubbing with a popcycle stick sorta like copper tooling
