Default RE: Composite-ARF Integral, kinda build thread

Quick question for those of you that have finished and flown your Integrals. All the control horn locations have balsa blocks in the control surface to glue the phenolic horns into. In the case of the Integral I am building, the rudder balsa block only captures about half of the front of the phenolic control horn if the holes in the end of the horn lines up with the pivot point on rudder (steel pin). Were your Integral rudders the same or did the block extend far enough to the rear of the rudder to give you a glue surface on the entire phenolic horn inside the rudder? Or, did you slide the horn forward to make sure it had full glue contact with the balsa block?

The dimensions given for the center of the rudder block were correct, but it doesn't seem to be wide enough in my opinion.

thanks,
Woodie
