Default RE: Transporting your plane???

Looks like I'm not the only one that's creative with pvc.

A few things I think I'll incorporate into my designs are.

1. Low profile. I have a fullsize truck with a half-shell (flat toneau cover) so the planes would have to sit under it. Make it so the wing sits (kinda) over the elevator and alongside the fuse.

2. Hang-ability. It'd be nice if I could take the plane, transporter and all, and hang it sideways on a wall. Either that, or make the transporters stack-able. I think if I used velcro or light bungies to hold the plane parts in the transporter. Then I could pick and choose what planes I want to take to the airfield, pull them off the wall, and carry them to my truck.

3. Overlap. I think I'd like the outside of the transporter to be larger than the fuse of the plane. That way no parts hang outside the boundary of the transporter. I could then put them side by side, or whatever, and I'd know the plane parts wouldn't bang into each other. This is a third priority. I might not have space to do this. It might limit how many planes I can put in my truck at one time.

As for field equipment. Field box, and transmitters can ride in the cab.
