One of our club members was working on a foreign contract and there were some intermittent issues, he was being grilled by his customers about it and made the offhand remark that maybe it was the phase of the moon causing the problems. They took his failed attempt at humor very literally and made a formal request that the specifications be changed to specify that the device was to have full functionality regardless of the moon phase.

We fly in a rural area and I am not opposed to killing a goat at the start of the flying season. The difference is we would call it a barbeque instead of a sacrifice.
