I made my own motor mount plate for KDA22-15m brushless, a 10x3.8 SF prop, 18 amp ESC, been flying with 3s 1700 mah battery. But intend to try a 1300mah next flight.

This set up provides more than enough power, and great flight times. This models flys really well, everyone is impressed with the model. The reason I want to try the smaller lighter battery is the plane tips onto it's nose when landing, on rough grass flying site. No damage, except cracked plastic cowl, just when it slows it noses over.
