It's possible, I have a copy of Bob Violett's pattern plane "Shrike" I purchased in 1974 ( I was 13 at the time). I thought it was a beginner's plane. I needs a fibreglass fuselage though, and a "flying fork". I got the flying fork for someone in Washington state who is still holding on to one of the original kits. He plans to build it some day
