Shipping price charged is related to the distance from you and the size of the box.

On some planes it can indeed be a "wash", on others thought there are still many bargains to be had.

Most of the Asian branded ARF's seem to have the same problems with the covering.

Namely that the glue releases after exposure to glow fuel, causing either ( or both ) the covering and trim to come loose.

This does not seem to be a vendor specific problem.

This annoyed me to no end, and I was constantly applying glue, CA or other means to keep the covering down.

Someone here posted a tip about using clear fuel proof spray-on "paint" or clear coats.

I tried Top-Flite Clear Kote on my "Asian" planes and this has worked quite well.

It's relatively cheap insurance against problems with the covering lifting and very easy to do.

That said the Ultra or Monokote covered planes do hold up better in this regard, and I've not had to resort to the transparent spray with most of the planes I have thus covered.
