youre talking about remote video. yes you will lose ure video feed if you go out of range. the cheapest way to go is to get a small video camera.

what they mean is you can actually watch video of youre plane as its flying from a reciever on the ground. the camera onboard has a transmitter that transmits to the reciever on the ground and puts it on a monitor on the ground. Depending on wat video sytem it is there is a specified range of how far that little camera on your plane can transmit. most video systems that are out there for rc planes have a greater range than the actual controller(transmitter) the system youre talking about is a cheap spy type camera thats not intended for long distances. more for like a this room to that room. These systems can get very expensive! Now- you can do that or like i said attach an actual mini camera or camcorder and just watch the video wen ure done flying. its cheaper and more fun if you ask me. i also got a disposable video camera from cvs and velcroed it to my plane. check it out
