Clermont is going to send me a 13/18. Hopefully this will help keep the motor cooler also. What I am experencing is that I can get it down to about 240-250 on road but as soon as you get it in grass and put a load on the motor it will shoot up to 280+. I think the gearing has a big part to do with high engine temps. But as it sits it will do over 40 but its sluggish off the line. I know the 13/18 will give me tons more low end and I will lose top speed but thats ok. How often do you need to go over 40mph unless your racing a Jato.
