I know exactly where your coming from.. Aviation technology has been developed so much because of the germans in that great war. It's to bad the luftwaffe had to fight for nazi propaganda and for a facist madman. There were alot of good men and HIGHLY skilled pilots that were just doing there job. Thats all. Read an interview with the ace of aces Erik Hartman(352 kills). He stated any man flying in his fighter wing that was talking about all the nazi jargon was not allowed in his fighter wing and they were to join the waffen ss. My favorite is also the bf-109. Preferably the gustav models. Heres a pic of my dave platt bf109 g-6. It is currently in for a restoration and repairs.
