Default RE: What is a drift box?

Wow so it senses oversteer?
And works almost like stability control?

Does it work well?
Anyone ever considered adding one on a circuit car so that it combats unwanted oversteer?

Yup, you can adjust the level of sensitivity to detect oversteer, and it would automatically counter-steer accordingly. Stability control is a lot more complex than these gyro sensor, and these dummy-box helps counter-steer only to a certain degree, you’ll still have to control the throttle, and it won’t help understeer either (wheel turned, but front tires lose grip and plow straight through instead of turning to where you wanted to).
